Scott began his career in the financial services industry in 2001 and joined the Troxell Financial team in 2004. Since then, he has earned both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designations. Scott became an owner and Vice President of the firm in 2018 and was designated as CEO in 2024. Scott has a hybrid focus on overseeing the firm's retirement plan division and developing relationships with individuals and their families, keeping them on track to achieving their dreams. Scott lives in Springfield, IL, with his wife, Courtney, and their four children. When not working with clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golfing, and perfecting his barbecuing skills.
